I have been given a mesh of an Axisymetric Sudden Expansion. I have to develop a velocity profile at several locations downstream of the expansion, static pressure and bed shear profile, and compare with the results of an experiment (I have been provided with a paper, but its too complicated!). I need help on how to approach this type of problem? I'm new to CFD and geting frustrated on how to solve this problem. I have managed to converge the solution twice using some guesses based on the experiment but I don't know what is right and what is wrong. Basically the experiment is a multiphase problem but I have to solve the problem as a single phase.
can someone help me on how to start from the scratch??? I really need help.. plz... |
