homogeneous and heterogeneous reaction
 
Do CFD governing equations equal for both homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions? Or they are different to each other?

hai
in the governing equations, the heterogeneous reactions or homogeneous reactions enter through the rate of reaction component. for homogeneous reactions the rate is in kg/m3s whereas for heterogeneous reactions it is in kg/m2s. so the reactions are always entered in the GE as kg/s. hope this helps

Thanks for your help. It is really helpful. Are you familiar to model chemical reaction instead of combustion in stirred reactor?

Since I am having my model of a chemical reaction instead of combustion in stirred reactor and I am facing a lot of difficulties in doing it. Hence, hopefully you are willing to discuss my problems with me in order to have sharing and problem troubleshooting together.
