From Gmsh to Fluent

I created a 3D mesh on Gmsh, and i exported to Fluent, but Fluent gives me the following error:

-Under the boundary conditions for a wall under the Thermal tab, it is telling me that "This page is not applicable under current settings"

Basically what i'm trying to do is have a channel running through a block of metal (kind of like a heat exchanger). I created the geometry under Gmsh and imported to Fluent as a Nastran Bulk Data File. When i get to setting the boundary conditions is when i run into trouble.

i included the .geo file from gmsh and the .cas file from fluent... any help will be great... thanks.

Miguel

P.S. I tried to upload the files but was unable to ... apparently they are too large even when compressed.

I believe your problem is that you have not specified the solver to solve the energy equation. In order for FLUENT to use thermal conditions you must toggle the energy equation.

Define>Models

turn "Energy" to On

Hope that helps
