i have been given a mesh of a axisymmetric sudden expansion in fluent to run simulation. But I found it strange. Although it looks a nice mesh of sudden expansion and the expansion is visible. But when I created a line from origin(at inlet) and at the outlet i found the same diameter. The expansion dia should be 60mm I know that, but why this inlet is also 60mm? can anyone explain!
