Default regarding axis of symmetry

hi i am modelling a flow in vertical annulus..im using 2ddp...axisymmetric model with x axis as axis of rotation n changed gravity to act in x direction.......is my assumption correct?....if so ..whic direction i hav to consider whether from left to right or reverse......
