Parallel computing
 

Has anyone used 2 or more Laptops or desktops to solve your problem using Fluent. Plz let me know if there any tutorials or can some provide direct help....

I have asimilar question. I have completely installed Ansys 12.1. My computer is core 2 quad. however when I use ansys batch and run an udf code it uses only one core. I have installed Hp-MPI and I have some problem with its setting. I would be grate if some one help me in this way

I think that in the batch file you should put the IP of the other computer as many times as the Computing nodes that you want to spawn in this PC

You can always create a small cluster from a 2-3 computers, personally I've worked on a CentOS based cluster with Fluent 6.3.
