As i induced CHEMKIN mechanism into FLUENT , a message appears:
Opening C:\PROGRA~1\ANSYSI~1\v120\fluent\fluent12.0.16/KINetics/ntx86/kinetics_usrdll.dll Opening C:\PROGRA~1\ANSYSI~1\v120\fluent\fluent12.0.16/KINetics/ntx86/KINeticsdll.dll 0, Failure in pre-processing of gas-phase chemistry mechanism. 0, Need to run KINetics PreProcess first. 1, Need to run KINetics PreProcess first. 2, Need to run KINetics PreProcess first. Is there something wrong in my chemkin mechanism or thermodynamics database? |

I have obtained a Chemkin-CFD licence but I still get the same error when I use a different thermodynamic database file. I am trying to use the GriMech 3.0 mechanism file. If I use Fluent's thermodynamic database file, I don't have any problem, but when I use any other thermodynamic data file, I get the same error message as the OP.
Thank you. Rohit |

I've got the license but it still shows below:
0, Failure in pre-processing of gas-phase chemistry mechanism. 0, Need to run KINetics PreProcess first. 1, Need to run KINetics PreProcess first. 2, Need to run KINetics PreProcess first. Can someone send me a successful CHENKIN-CFD file? start_silent@ntu.edu.tw |

Hi,
Also have a license (stored on a separate file server) and getting the same error as posted above. Does anyone know where I need to specify the location of the license file. Thanks! Carl **Problem solved: define the location of your license file by an environmental variable by export REACTION_LICENSE_FILE=28850@server-host Last edited by CCarl; May 22, 2012 at 11:41. Hi, I am a user of fluent. I'm trying to get a license for chemkin-CFD from reactiondesign.com. In their form requested to give the license of Ansys. My ansys license produced by a crack program which is in a folder with the name ''magnitude'' as anybody of you know. They don't send me the license for chemkin-CFD because they told me that my ansys license is invalid. . Here i attach my ansys license. I 'd like to ask you why is this ansys license file shown invalid.
Thank you! |

Mmm...
Basically ReactionDesign don't give you the good license because it's apparent that you didn't buy Flunet... Buy the software first before asking for help |
