Y+ value

Hello everybody,

I am modelling an impinging jet over a flat plate heated.
I would like to reach a Y+ value of 1. However The result show a high y+ value above the heated area.
Why the temperature has an influence on the y+ value?
What is the solution for me, modify my mesh??

Thank you in advance!!

Damien

1. Use an y+ calculator to get an estimate:

2. Your real y+ can be determined only during the calculations.

Thank you Do,

I modified my post just before you to answer me. sorry :/
I have been speaking with my supervisor this afternoon and the y + question is much clearer for me now. However I have still this question about the temperature, Do you know about it?

Best regards,

Damien
