Hi everyone, i am new to CFD online.
i have a question here to everyone, i am currently simulating the acoustic flow in the impedance tube. The apparatus involve a speaker at one the end, a tube with 4 microphones placing at the top and a cover at the other end. i wanted to set my speaker as the inlet boundary condition by activating the acoustic model but failed to do so. there was a so called acoustic source in the acoustic modelling which i still couldn't understand how and what is the use of this acoustic source thingy. i tried to make my speaker as the acoustic source which i initially set as pressure inlet in gambit. surprisingly i did not see the pressure inlet selection in the acoustic source setting, there were only "walls" to be enabled. what is this acoustic source and is there anyway that i can set the frequency of the speaker? please help ... |
