small doubt with fluent

Hello. I am working in the simulation of a ductile iron cube submerged in a molten salt bath.

Obviously, the cube and the salt bath are at different temperatures, but I can't figure out how could I implement it; if I use the 'initialize' command, the two volumes are at the same temperature, and using the 'boundary conditions' command doesn't help either, because it only puts the wall at the requested temperature (as expected).

So, my question is: is there any way to impose two different temperatures to two volumes before starting the simulation?

Thanks in advance

Hi,
you can do that by patching method.

I've made a little video for you:

I've patched using a register, but if the cells you want to patch are in a different volume zone, you can better use that (check the Patch window).

Cheers
