Unexpected error Fluent
I'm Suzan, student in the Netherlands and I'm doing a CFD project. So far, so good... Unfortunately, this week an error occured that is a total surprise for me and my supervisors and other staff members of the university.
Error: CDR: invalid argument : wrong type [not a pair].
I've seen this error on this forum but the answers/solutions to it didn't work in my case. Perhaps I have some more information which can be the reason of this error.
I'm simulating a simple box (3.6 x 5.4 x 2.7 m³). All walls are given a temperature and natural convection is occuring. I have used a model that worked perfectly, but it had to much details for my research. At the time the details were removed and the simple box remained (exactly the same structured grid is used) the error started occuring. I'm doing a RANS simulation, RNG-ke model, enhanced wall treatment, and also a second order, transient solution. (This worked perfectly for the more detailed model). With ANSYS less problems occured, but they still exist and I can't use ANSYS all the time because I'm a student (currently I'm using an older version of Fluent).
Does anyone have any idea what this error means and perhaps how to deal with it. (at the moment the error is present, but my simulation continues...)
Thanks a lot!!!
