Why fluent active ENERGY model?
Why when I use the Species model with species transport fluent active the energy model? I have a box with 2 inlet and 1 outlet. In to the 2 inlet I put 2 different fluid but with the same temperature. If i have 2 fluid with the same temperature i think that I don't need a Energy model!
Thankyou |
when you use the Species model the energy equation will active automatically . if you do not want to solve the energy equation, you can deselect the energy equation in the "solution panel" .
or select "volume-weghted-mixing-law" algorithm for density in the "material panel" for mixture material |
Ok, thankyou! But if I have a energiy equation actived or not the option "volume-weghted-mixing-law" it's always actived. If I want to simulate a mixing of two different fluid with a same temperature in a box, is it important that to have a energy equation actived?
Thankyou |

i think, you are not need to solve the energy equation. so you can save some computation time and resouce hope you can understand my words, my english is poor. i want to learn |
