sketchup file for CFD with fluent

Hi

Does anyone knows or ever tried to convert a sketchup file in other extension and successfuly opened in fluent??

I want to simulate a formuler one model with fluent to compare it with the data obtained from wind tunnel test. I could not find a 3d cad file of F1 on the web and neither I don't think I can draw it without any 2d drawing of parts(it will take much time also).

so I searched for a solution.

someone adviced me to add a file for use of plug-in of GAMBIT named, skp_to_dxf.rb for conversion from sketchup to .stl file.

so i found a sketchup file of the formula one model and

after consulting several messages I succeded to convert the F1 sketchup file into .stl,.igs,.catpart

I can open the file in .stl format in GAMBIT. But I don't reach to open those files in FLUENT. it indicates an error,

"no cells in zone, id = 0, ind1 = 1,indn = 0Reading Cells: failed while reading section 12"

it's the same case for .igs format.

Thanks so much for your comments!
