How to define particle-wall restitution coefficient in Eulerian multiphase model ?

Hi,
I am using Eulerian multiphase along with granular model to simulate a circulating fluidized bed. Where do I specify the value for particle-wall restituition coefficient?

Thanks

hi,

you cannot define it. Instead use specularity coeffcient.

Is there any relation between specularity coefficient and particle-wall restitution coefficient?

I am not sure about this............May be some UDF can be written....

hi,

Many results on simulation have been published using both 'particle-particle restitution coeffcient' and 'particle-wall restitution coeffcient' along with 'specularity coefficient'. I am just wondering how is it possible. Are you sure that one cannot specify 'particle-wall coefficient' ?

Thanks

define -> phases, select secondary phase, set and set Granular Temperature Model to Partial Differential Equation

now you can set coefficient of restitution under Boundary Conditions, wall (for second phase) under multiphase.

Thanks a lot...!
