Specifying the pressure values for the Fan characteristic curve

I'm totally new to FLUENT. I had a very newbie question in specifying the pressure values to the fan characteristic curve [using the Lumped parameter model].

From the user manual of FLUENT I found that - "
All pressures that are specified and all pressures computed or reported by FLUENT are gauge pressures" and also that Absolute pressure = Operating pressure + gauge pressure.

So could some one please tell me whether the pressure values that are specified for the characteristic curves of the fan are gauge pressures (or) absolute pressures

I have the same question.

What fan curve normally includes is Pressure vs Flow rate. For that data to be used in the lumped parameter model, you have to convert it into pressure vs velocity. You can do that based on your duct area on which the fan is supposed to work.
