Hi,
I have modelled the nozzle of the welding torch sitting above a solid plate in a fluid volume and have represented the arc as a hemispherical energy source sitting on the plate directly below the nozzle. My problem is no matter how high I set the energy source, the heat transfer from fluid to solid is limited and definatley not represening reality. I'm fairly new to FLUENT so I'm not sure if I'm missing something glaringly obvious. Any help would be appreciated! Last edited by gramsey629; July 8, 2011 at 03:52. |
