How to define interface

Hi all, I am new to CFD please help me
I have two blocks of different materails and they are put together in contact of each other. I have boundary conditions of opposing sides. How to define interface between them and how to model it in fluent. |

hi!
the manual is in this case very helpful! set the both surfaces under boundary conditions to interface. then go to define->grid interfaces and connect the two interfaces. finished! |

you're welcome.
by the way be careful if you're using an udf with loops over your wall boundaries. fluent generates for interfaces additional wall boundaries without any cells
