Damien_CFD is on a distinguished road
Dear Fluent users,

I am currently running a large scale simulation with Fluent 13.0.0. The case is a release of hydrogen into an enclosure with a small opening toward the environment.

I created an environment outside my enclosure which should be large enough to expect no velocity at the boundaries or very small. My boundary conditions for the sides of my computational domain are pressure inflow; and for the "sky" (top of my computational domain) pressure outflow. The temperature set is exactly the same for all the boundaries (293K). The pressure is atmospheric (101 325 Pa).

My problem is about the velocity magnitude. The velocity vectors at the top of my compartment are directed toward the interior of the computational domain (from the sky toward the ground). I hoped they could be reversed or a profile . Their velocities are around 0.2 m/s.

did someone encounter a similar case?

Thank you for the time you will take to help me.
