Constant value by Cooper scheme

1 Attachment(s)
Hello

For a cylindrical volume, firstly, i mesh the side faces of the cylinder and then apply the cooper scheme to project the source faces (side faces) in the axial direction throughout the cylindrical volume. however, when I give the interval size of the mesh to the cylindrical volume, it disregards it and gives a constant mesh size to the volume in the axial direction.

My question is: Why the cooper scheme is disregarding the interval size/interval count given by me in the axial direction?

Npte: In the picture, the mesh density in the axial direction is lesser and i wish to increase it but can't as a constant value is taken by cooper scheme. Why is this problem caused?
thanks
