Volume Split by face

1 Attachment(s)
I have a volume shown in the attached figure. The face (shown in red) is used to split the cubical volume (shown in pink). But when i try to split volume with the face, Gambit gives the following error:

ACIS error 8062: edge split at one end: may be coincident geometries in input body.

How to cope up with this issue?

Thanks

Is your split surface real or virtual? what about your volumes?

Thanks Max

All the volumes and faces are real.

Then extend wour surface in +y and -y direction (sweep edge)
Also extend your surface in -x for the front edge, and in -z for the rear one.
The reason is to be sure that your surface will split all the volume.

If it fails, then we will do it in virtual

Thank you Max

Actually i solved the issue by Stitching the faces first and making a volume and then splitting the volume by volume.

However, i also tried what u specified, I extruded surface and edges but it didnt work. Virtual geomtery might work. But the issue is solved.

Thanks
