axial and z-velocity difference?

I am simulating a 3D disk in Fluent. The disk is rotating and is filled with an open-cell porous media. I am applying a suction pressure outlet condition in the center of the disk, and a pressure-inlet condition on the disk surface. Air is being sucked into the surface of the disk and is funneled into a hole in the center of the disk.

In the Cell Zone Condition for the porous media fluid, I specify a moving reference frame with the rotation axis origin = (x,y,z) = (0,0,0) and the rotation axis direction the z-direction (0,0,1).

When I plot the velocity at the surface of the disk (the inlet velocity), I find that the z-velocity contour and the axial velocity contours look different. The axial velocity contours look correct, but the z-velocity contours do not.

When I do not rotate the disk, the z- velocity and axial velocity look the same.

What is the reason for this difference?

Thanks!
