free surface in Fluent 13

Hi there, atm i am working with fluent 12 on a multiphase model of two sewerpipes coming together with low waterlevel. i now try to solve this with the VOF model with checked "open channel flow" option. now i heard that fluent 13 has newer (better) ways to simulate free surface flows. Has anyone made experiences with that yet and can tell? thinking about changing from 12 to 13 by now

As I seen in the ANSYS 13 new feature, the VOF method in the ANSYS/Fluent 13 was optimized from the ANSYS/Fluent 12, but the options and manuals are still same to previous.
