advantages of turbulence kinetic energy
 

Hello. One question. I have a lot of esperimental data to introduce in my simulation with FLUENT. People suggest me that I calculate the turbulence kinetic energy of my experimetal data to introduce in my simulation too. But I don't understand well the advantages of this. Could you explain me? I am a beginner with the CFD. Thanks
