Hello,
I am doing 2D analysis in multiphase using a VOF method. Secondary phase is initialized in the domain using UDF. I want to introduce a pressure pulse (lets say 10 bar)from one boundary travelling to the other.
I am using Explicit VOF scheme, CFL no. maintaining at 0.25.
I tried with step pulse condition also with sine wave condition. In both cases, it reaches to the peak pressure but then does not follow the curve and decrease very slowly. The maximum pressure always remain at the boundary where it was initiated. It does not travel through the domain. Would any body suggest me some solution over this problem? How can I simulate the travelling pressure pulse?

Thanks in advance.

Sachin
