Could you please help me with DPM concentration macro? I cannot find any information in Fluent help files. I would like to know how to use it in UDF and if there is an example for using this macro.

Many thanks in advance.

Alex, thanks for your help. I would like to define "thermal conductivity" as a function of the particles concentration. Therefore, I would like to use DPM-concentration macro. I will be very grateful if you can provide some examples to me because I am even not familiar with UDF yet. Thanks again.

RoM, many thanks for your information.

If you want, I can help you with your problem but I think that if you need any thing about DPM macros, the best way is with several messages, is it a problem for you?

The process to create any UDF is very jealous. First you must identify how many and which parameters do you need to elaborate your UDF. Next to it, we selected the best way to create the C code. Previous to this, you should have access to Visual C or any C compiler program.

Just do it, and when you are ready, send me a message to continue, ok?

regards Alex

Could you please tell me some macros in Fluent including the parameters used in calculating Thermophoresis force, Brownian force, Lift force etc. ? I would like to use udf to calculate these forces. Many thanks.

Hi dear friend
I am working on a new method for nanofluid heat transfer calculations
if you find a good way to solve your problem, pls send me a simple code for dpm conductivity definition. do you know, what macro is used for particle conductivity in dpm approach?

I am wondering if you could solve the problem of calculating dpm concentration. I have to calculate it amd I do not know how I should use C_DPM_CONCENTRATION(c,t) macro exactly,

I will be grateful if you can help me
