Hi,
I want to define a trnaslational periodic bc in fluent where the two boundaries have a time varying pressure drop.

So suppose my domain length is L, then I want to define
u(0)=u(0+L) and p(0) = p(0+L)+P(t), where P(t)= time varying pressure drop but constant at a particular time, (lets say sin function, where sin(t) will have some constant value at a flow time, t).

But my trouble is fluent allows me to define a periodic boundary condition as
u(0)=u(0+L) and p(0) = p(0+L)+C, where C is a constant pressure drop, and NOT a time varying pressure drop. How to make this C a function of flow time.

Is there a way with writing UDF I can overcome this? Can I create a separate BC's where Face at 0 and L are coupled to each other by a pressure difference of P(t)?

Your views are really appreciated on this.

Thanks,
Beguxa
