Hello Guys

I have a simple question,
I want to know if it is ok to use "minus velocity" as an input in velocity-inlet boundary condition in Fluent, (this could be sort of aspiration boundary)

Thank you so much
Hamid

Yes you can but u will get reverse flow warning during the run of the case and this mean the fluid came from outlet?

so u mean except the warning message it is correct to use minus value for velocity at inlet velocity boundary condition?, which i intend to simulate aspiration condition on it

That should be fine, because that is just a warning indicating that you have a reverse flow.
