I have a quad core processor. When I run simulation in Fluent 12 in series it shows that 50% of my processing power (cpu usage) is in use. But when I change it to parallel and make it 8 (because each core has 2 threads) then it shows 100% cpu usage but that will use 8 fluent shared licenses.
I want to use all my cpu resource in a single license (series), does any one know how I can do this? Thanks. |

I think you launch your fluent in parallel mode to use all your cpu resource
for your cpu quad core select 4 in parallel |

But will I be using 4 parallel fluent licenses or will I only consume 1 license? We have a shared license system in which every user is allowed to use limited number of licenses at the same time. |
