Hi,
How does fluent compute the RMS velocity? I am running LES simulation and wasn't sure how it computes the RMS.. Does it calculate a new mean every time step ? to find u', v' and w'? Regards, Vishwa |

RMS definitions are different for pressure based and density based solver.
please refer 25.18.1 User guide section. |

Hello,
I'm now in a similar situation, that I would need the definition of how the RMS values are calculated in FLUENT. Anyone who can help me out on this? I could not find anything in the manual. Regards |
