Hi, I am using Gambit as a preprocessor tool. I am trying to stitch the faces for a KVLCC2 ship hull to form a volume but i kept encountering this problem "ERROR: cannot create ACIS body. Is this an open shell?". I have turned on shaded mode and all the faces are created. I have attached the screengrab as well.
Are there any possible reasons/solutions to this problem? Thank you. |

Hi!
The problem could be with the double face, that can be seen on your print screen. Try to delete the double face. I had that problem a few days ago and it gave me good result. If you do not know which face is double, you should turn on button faces and inside button info. |
