Default relative humidity and temperature by outlet

hi, friends,

Air with 50% relative humidity (the temperature is 20°C) comes into a room through an inlet, and then it leaves this room through an outlet. There is a small cubic volume with certain rotation in the middle of the room. Here the MRF model is used for rotation of the volume. Near this cubic volume top, there is a water source which sprays water (the temperature also is 20°C) onto the rotating cubic volume and a part of the water evaporates in the room. The combination of species transport and discrete phase model (with interaction option) is used for process of water evaporate and dispersing. The result shows us, that the relative humidity of air by outlet is endless and the air temperature by outlet is even minus (very strong reduced). The question is why the chosen models seem to be wrong and why relative humidity of air is endless and temperature is much too low.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Bing, I am ding the problem on evaporation of water from lake to atmospheric air at room temperature, I don't know how to give the relative humidity in fluent, If u know or having any data related to relative humidity in fluent plz reply me , my email id subhas.hunasikatti@gmail.com

Thank you in advance
with regards

check up your settings and evaporation modeling. With cold temperatures the relative humidity goes big and that is correct.

Hi Zaktatir, actually i don't know which boundary condition type that i have to use in Fluent for relative humidity , If u know related to this plz reply me.

Thanks in advance

hello everyone,
i am modeling air flow(natural convection),unsteady state in cube with large openning using FLUENT and i want to define the concentration of relative humidity.however, I don't know how to give the relative humidity in fluent,i was wondering if anyone of you can help me to figure out this
please,if anyone can help this is my email : m1-mohb@hotmail.fr
thx

ghost82 will become famous soon enough
I think you have to use the psychrometric chart to have the mass fraction from relative humidity (I think you have to set in fluent the mass fraction).
