Divergence due to periodic boundary condition

1 Attachment(s)
Dear fellow Fluent users,

I was trying to run a simulation on a transonic fan blade with rotational periodic boundary condition. However, instead of having the iteration started, it gave me an error message at the beginning of the iteration. In other words, the iteration failed to start. The error message was about the divergence detected by AMG solver; pressure correction.
Does this has something to do with the grid quality (e.g. skewness etc)?

Many thanks in advance.

hi
this may happen sometimes
what are you trying to solve
just don't put all your simulation parameters at once
put them one by one
first solve the flow and then mesh motion

and tell what happens in that case

try to change the mesh type also
regards
shk
