turbulet flow

Hi

What happens if I do not mesh the boundary with inflation ? Does it give wrong results?

What you mean by inflation?

Inflation is just another term for grid stretching. Mesh cell sizes should blend or grow gradually between small and large cells (otherwise errors can be introduced). There should not be a large sudden change in cell size. Without inflation, it is unlikely that you can achieve the gradual growth between small cells near boundaries and large cells far from boundaries.

If you do not use inflation, then your cell sizes should be uniformly small (no changes in cell size anywhere), this will produce a high quality mesh but the resultant mesh will have a very high cell count.
