Dear All
What is the acceptable courant number in simulation for VOF? if it increases but still there is convergance should I decrease the time step? |

the requirement is 0.25 for courunt number
you should have it below that value for a good solution. |

thanks for reply,
so far the criteria i was familiar with, were grid independence study and time step independence study, is courant number just representative of them or anything else, thanks again |

it is a fuction of cell size and time step only
it works fine only in unsteady state regards shk |
