Hi,
Anyone has had any experience with coupling a Ricardo WAVE program with an ANSYS Fluent 3D simulation please? I am simulating the scavenging of a 2-stroke single cylinder engine and I am trying to use data from the WAVE model as boundary conditions to the Fluent model. With what procedure should I move on? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Darren |

I found ANSYS 13.0 Help Chapter 7.8 named 'Coupling Boundary Conditions with WAVE'. The instructions ask for the file 'wave_child.dat' however I do not exactly know how to create this file and what it should contain.
Many Thanks for any replies Darren |

I am trying to do the same analysis and would like assistance with this as well. I am modeling the the exhaust manifold of a 4-cylinder engine in ansys and need to apply the conditions from ricardo wave as the inlet conditions to each of the headers. Can anyone help with this?
