Dear engeneers, need your help!
I build mesh for the study of heat transfer between the hot solid-source and stream of fluid. I build mesh in ANSYS Meshing. But in Fluent I did not see any heat transfer (you can see everything on screen). All settings are checked and now I think it may be here in the grid. Flow pattern is normal, but there is no heat. Who is not difficult to see the project please what's wrong? http://narod.ru/disk/43618608001.1c8...nt_11.rar.html p.s. Geometry did in DM, two solids collected in one part, for build a conformal mesh. I found a few topics on this issue, but the error still can not see. |

Are you doing conjugate heat transfer studies? From the pictures it seems that the fluid and the solid they actually have different temperatures (even if the temperature distribution inside the solid looks not good at all) so there MUST be heat transfer.
How do you get no heat transfer from? What are your boundary conditions? Cheers Rob |
