how to define membrane layer boundary in gambit and fluent
 
how to define a membrane layer in ultrafiltration
its 2d model having 2 membrane sheets one is on top and and other one is on bottom which type of boundary shuold i use

Hi Richa, I am not to sure about a 2-D system, but specifying membrane boundaries could be done using the continuum method...I am also new with CFD and fluent so this might not be correct.

maybe by defining a 1D porous jump or by setting a porous zone?
