Hi
I have a confusion about the terminology 'thread' in udf of fluent. I wanted to ask what is called thread in fluent? If any one knows about it, please let me know. Thanks. |

Hai,
The cell and thread are used to define the position of the cell in the UDF. Fluent UDF manual gives teh following explanation " A thread is a data structure in FLUENT that is used to store information about a boundary or cell zone. Cell threads are groupings of cells, and face threads are groupings of faces" Refer; http://hpce.iitm.ac.in/website/Manua...udf/node12.htm Hope that explains |
