Dynamic mesh -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

akash1016 New Member akash Join Date: Aug 2012 Posts: 2 Rep Power: 0	I am simulating a rigid body (transient solution) falling under gravity using dynamic mesh. I have used UDF to specify the mass amd moment of inertia of rigid body. The setup is working for density ratio (density of solid/ density of fluid ) of 17. But as soon as I reduce it fluent shows divergence at completion of each timestep. I have tried changing the solution controls, schemes, convergence criteria, time interval but nothing helps. Can anybody suggest a solution?
