May somebody help me with drawing the mesh for a 3D pipe for the two fluids A & B as illustrated in the picture ? knowing that the pipe diameter is 50 mm, length is 10 m and lower fluid level is 16mm?

Hi,
Plz explain the question properly. r u not able to mesh the pipe or u want to know how to initilize the flow.

Thanks for the reply I use Gambit for mesh not Workbench then what you sent for single phase flow my problem deals with two phase flows did you see the schematic i sent in my first post?

Mesh will be the same for both single and multiphase flow and use UDF for initialization.
1.create the circle
2. extrude the circle through desired length nd direction
3. mesh the radial and axial edge.
4. mesh volume.

Thanks a lot Banty for the reply I am really not have full idea about what you said about the mesh may you send me a JOU file for the curvature interface which I shows at the first post with the same dimensions mentioned?

I mean to say that generate the geometry and mesh as it is in cornell tutorials and write UDF to initilize the flow. or even in gambit itself split the inlet face with profile and then patch tha value in the Fluent.
anyway U need more geometry information like theta or radius of curvature of the interface profile.

Thanks a lot Banty for the valuable answer. I have idea about the drawing hope to consult it with you. I need to draw a face then spilt it with a curve to get the interface the angle theta and height of fluid B is known but the edges of the curve is unknown may you tell me how I can get it?
