Transfer grille: simplification

How would you model this door transfer grille without all the louvres?
It's not a major feature in the room, just the outlet on a wall. I'd appreciate your experience with this sort of thing? Regards, |

I would use a porous jump (2d surface) to capture the pressure drop across the grille.
