slice data
 

I have a 3d simulation data from a inlet tube done in fluent i want to slice the data in free parts to analyse individualy,i´m trying in tecplot but only gets info where i slice.I want the data from z=0 to where i slice can this by done?

Seems like you are just trying to plot a small region. Can you not just change the plotting limits from 0 to wherever you slice in tecplot? What is the problem here?

Are you trying to export a sub-volume or sub-plane? And why can't you just export the entire volume or plane?
