I am about to setup a new high-end software development office. Most of my software development is going to be in Java/J2EE, Android, iOS, VMware, LINUX, Cloud and MySQL. In the next few months I plan to have a team of 100 developers. On a regular basis, I plan to take backups of all my J2EE projects codebase, databases and other projects documents. My database is going to have around 500,000 to 1000,000 rows of data in it, and additional 500,000 rows of data will be added to it annually every successive year.
Based on the above scenario can someone please advice me on which specific hardware server & model I should buy and which workstations(development machine and their configurations) I should buy? I am looking for quick but very sound advice since I have to setup this office in next 3 weeks. Please share your detailed expert advice.
