Is there any CFD software that I can download from the internet that is compatible with windows...if not, are there any that are compatible for linux, that work for high speed internal flow, for aviation? any that are possibly free, or at least a trial

I could use some help here because I heard that HEAT-TK worked for windows, but all I can find online is the users manual which doesn't really do me any good if I don't have the program to go along with it

THANKS
Marilyn

OpenFOAM is an open source CFD framework, so the source code/patches are freely available on the internet.

If there isn't a default CFD solver in the OpenFOAM applications that fits your needs you can always write/modify your own using the OpenFOAM framework.

For Linux try: http://www.opencfd.co.uk/openfoam/download.html

For Windows try: http://www.symscape.com/openfoam-1-5-x-on-windows
