Hi All,
Our lab has recently grown, and we now have 6-7 people sharing a cluster of 12 intel i7s to run Fluent. We are currently allocating resources on a first come first served basis, and we are manually checking the processes running on each machine to make sure that the machine is free before we spawn it.

What Im looking for is some sort of utility or script that I could load on the host machine that we could run to see what machines are in use. The fluent license server tells us how many of the 48 processors are free - but it doesnt tell us which ones. Any ideas?

Thanks
Jimmy

Hi, I don't know if you still need an answer. In any case you could try looking into Sun Grid Engine (now Oracle Grid Engine).
