what is the least configuration for a pc to install ANSYS Fluent 12.1....

I could at least install ANSYS CFD on 4 -5 year old Pentium 4, 32bit, 3 GB RAM. Simulations were naturally slow.
I guess in the current generation Intel i3 or older Core2Duo with 2 GB RAM would be the minimum to get some reasonable speed. On a different note, I have installed OpenFOAM on a netbook with Intel Atom. Performance is another issue... |

You can probably install it on a p4 machine with 512MB ram and approx 1 GB of HD space. If you are running Fluent on a sub-par machine then I also suggest to get the grid limited license since you won't be able to run large systems anyway.
