ok guys be gentle
i have a desktop cad station at home and would like to run floworks along with solidworks... spec: i7 950 bloomfield 24gb ddr3 1600 ram x2 1tb hard drives quadro fx 4500 512mb ram also a gaming card with 1gb ram and physicx thing on it. what do i need to do with this to make it a useful tool, if at all.. had cuda mentioned to me?? |

The only thing that might help is bumping your processor up to the i7 970 which has 6 cores instead of 4 (assuming the Floworks solver is parallel, I am not familiar with it). You already maxed out the RAM, which is the other important factor. The video cards don't matter yet.

As I know SW and SW FloWorks don't use CUDA GPUs.
