Hi! I am a Ph.D student and a new one with CFD programs. I would like to tell me if anyone knows wich is the best program for thermal analysis and airflow in buildings? Sould I buy ANSYS CFX or FLUENT?

Hi apostolos,
I am Pavitran , presently I am doing my Master thesis at Swedish National Testing and Research Institute. My topic of investigation is 'Numerical Simulation of Indoor air' I am using FLUENT, It is giving good results for room air flows .I am validating my results with LDA data. I dont have any idea about CFX. If any one suggests CFX, I would like to know in what way it is better than FLUENT for room air flows. regards/ Pavitran D |
