Entropy with CFD
Hi, is there anyone who has ever tried to calculate local entropy generation in flow fields with heat transfer?

I have a number of papers and routines which I have used ith CFX-TASCflow.
The fundamental pricinple is the entropy conservation equation and 2 terms arise as sources: 1. a term due to heat ransfer 2. a term due to viscous dissipation tupically called mu*phi
If the flow is turbulent then the usual Reynolds averaging procedure must be carried out and introduces new terms....as always.
A good reference is the discussion by Burnmeister! (Ich habe erst Heute dieses Buch in der Biblioteck an der Technischen Uni-HH heir gesehen!)
I have a number of other reference and the above that I could give you when I get back to Kanada!
