Calculation of mass in 2D

Hi everyone,

I have a small issue.

I'm using DEFINE_SDOF_PROPERTIES for the motion of e two dimensional particle.

I want to assign, in that function, the mass to the particle, but, I don't know how calculate it.

I know its density (1050 km/m^3) and radius (0,01 m), but, in 2D, the particle is a circle, then, I can calculate its surface and not its volume.

So, the question is: how to obtain the mass from density in 2D?

Is there anyone who knows the answer?

you must work assuming unitary lenght in the third direction... that means pi*(0.01)^2 x 1 is the equivalent volume of a cylinder of 1 m in the third direction.
